The Army Painter rolls into the Las Vegas Open

The Army Painter rolls into the Las Vegas Open

The Las Vegas Open (LVO) is one of the premier gaming events in many hobbyists' yearly calendars. Situated in the heart of the city that never sleeps (no, not that city, the other city that never sleeps), LVO is a weekend-long celebration of all of our favourite tabletop wargames. Whether you want to throw down in the grim darkness of the far future, on a planet dominated by a single ecosystem in a galaxy far, far away, or in a distant fantasy realm with inclement weather always on the horizon, LVO has you covered.

Hosted by Frontline Gaming, it has grown to become one of the pinnacles of tournament play, pitting the best tabletop generals from all over the world against each other.

The best news, though, is that this year, The Army Painter is rolling into town!

LVO Exhibitor Hall Maps

While throwing dice and shuffling models across the tabletop may be the main attraction, LVO also features plenty of hobby seminars as well as a vendor hall, and that’s where we come in.

The Army Painter is proud to host our very own booth this year, where you’ll be able to stop by and chat with the friendly faces of our events team, as well as the chance to see the new Warpaints Fanatic range in action for the first time in person!

And, as Dipit likes to say whilst scurrying through the halls of Army Painter HQ, stolen office supplies firmly in his grasp - that’s not all!

Caleb Seminar Schedule

We're also proud to host a series of painting seminars by two amazing and celebrated painters: Caleb Wissenback and Same Lenz.

Caleb Wissenback, of CK Studios fame and the newest official member of The Army Painter events team, will be hosting a total of 5 seminars across the weekend. This includes 2 airbrushing seminars, a skill he is highly renowned for.

Sam Seminar Schedule

We also have the winningest miniature painter in North America and member of our newly christened Factory Team, Sam Lenz, leading an additional 3 seminars. Come learn the painting skills needed to rack up those painting awards. Warning: side effects may include leather jackets and an affinity for heavy metal music.

All you need to do to attend any of these amazing seminars is to stop by our booth ahead of time in the vendor hall and sign up for the ones that interest you. They’re completely free, but space is limited, so make sure you sign up early!

Beat Adam at 40K!

Rumour even has it that Adam will be playing in the 40k Champs this year. So, if you’re rolling dice over the weekend, you could get a chance at beating him. Prizes include bragging rights, tournament points, and knowing Adam, likely a high five.

We have a lot going on at LVO this year, and we’re excited to be there, sharing the joy of this wonderful hobby with all of our fans. If you’re attending, be sure to stop by and say hi, paint some minis, and attend some of our amazing hobby seminars. This is just the start of our plan for total global domination regarding hobby events for 2024. Next up is that most venerable of gaming events, Adepticon in March. Stay tuned for more details on our plans for the windy city and beyond and see you in Las Vegas!
