The Army Painter Heads to War on the Shore

The Army Painter Heads to War on the Shore

Something truly magical happens when the hobby comes together not just for competition, but for community and a cause—and that’s exactly what War on the Shore is about. The Army Painter is proud to return as a primary sponsor of this special charity gaming weekend, bringing paints, prizes, demos, and hands-on hobby experiences to one of the most heartfelt hobby events.

Supporting TABLEWAR Charities

War on the Shore is more than a gaming event—it’s a fundraising effort organized by TABLEWAR Charities, a nonprofit dedicated to charitable fundraising for improving the lives of children and adults on the Autism Spectrum. Through events like this, TABLEWAR brings people together, promotes inclusion, and turns hobby time into meaningful impact for families and individuals who need resources, support, and connection.

Painting, Learning, and Inclusive Fun

The Army Painter’s presence at War on the Shore is designed to make the hobby accessible and joyful for everyone who stops by. On Saturday, January 11, we’ll host a fun class for kids from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. This guided paint session will kick things off with a welcoming introduction focused on inclusion and discovery.

Following the session, the dedicated Paint & Take area will be open with all the supplies attendees need to paint provided miniatures. We’ll bring paints, brushes, and our new Speedpaint Markers. You can drop in and create at your own pace. Whether you’re sitting with a child, taking time with a friend, or exploring the hobby on your own, this space is for every skill level.

Community and Competition

Our Event Operations & Community Manager, Kat Jackson, will be on site throughout the weekend and she’ll be available for one-on-one instruction and product demos. The Army Painter is also honoured to support the event with prize support for tournament play.

Join Us in Hawaii

War on the Shore is four days of tabletop gaming, hobby camaraderie, campfire stories, beach walks, and creative energy—all wrapped around a cause that matters. From January 8 to 11 on the North Shore of Oahu, we invite you to come paint with us, play hard, and be part of something bigger.

See you on the shore!
