Origins Game Fair is the kind of convention where you can spend the morning learning a new game, the afternoon painting a miniature, and the evening wondering how you somehow ended up carrying three more boxes than when you arrived. This June, The Army Painter is heading to Columbus, Ohio, and we're looking forward to being part of Origins.
From June 17-21, you'll find us at Booth #1013 in the Greater Columbus Convention Center, right next to Painter's Plaza. Whether you're a dedicated miniature painter, a curious first-timer, or someone who's been saying "I'll paint those someday" for the last few years, we'd love to see you and talk about the hobby with you.
More Than a Booth
One of the things we enjoy most about Origins is how hands-on the convention feels. It's a show built around demo’ing new games, learning new skills, and sharing hobbies with other enthusiasts.
That's why you won't just find us at Booth #1013. You'll spot The Army Painter all over the hobby side of Origins as the main sponsor of the Paint & Take, plus sponsors of the Hobby Seminar programme and Paint Competition.
If you're looking to pick up a brush for the first time, improve your painting skills, or simply spend some time enjoying the creative side of the hobby, there will be plenty of opportunities throughout the show to learn more about painting.

Of course, we'll also be busy at our booth all weekend.
The team will be running hands-on demos of The Army Painter paints, brushes, and hobby tools, giving attendees the chance to try products for themselves and ask questions directly. Been wondering what all the fuss is about Speedpaint Markers? Curious about Warpaints Fanatic? Want to put a brush in your hand before committing precious hobby budget? This is your chance.
We'll also be offering one-to-one hobby guidance. Stuck on a colour scheme? Wondering how to tackle a particular technique? Not sure where to start with a new project? Pull up a chair and let's figure it out together.
And for those looking to stock up, we'll have our full product portfolio available for retail purchase throughout the convention.
Come Roll Dice and Paint Minis
Origins has always been a place where tabletop gamers gather to discover something new. Sometimes that's a board game or a roleplaying campaign. Sometimes it's a miniature painting technique that suddenly makes a project click.
Whether you're entering the Paint Competition, trying Speedpaint for the first time, or taking a break between games, we'd love to see what you're working on.
Stop by Booth #1013, talk hobby with the team, and maybe leave with a few new painting ideas.
See you in Columbus. Until then, happy painting!
