If you’ve been to SPIEL Essen before, you probably know better than to arrive without a plan. There are eight halls to explore this year, hundreds of exhibitors to visit, and more new games than anyone could reasonably hope to play in four days. Your plan might include a carefully organised list of everything you want to see. We hope that includes visiting The Army Painter in our first-ever booth at SPIEL.
From October 22-25, The Army Painter will be joining the tabletop gaming world at Messe Essen, and you can find us in Hall 1, Booth 1D425. We’ll have plenty to paint, try, shop, and talk about throughout the show. We’re also bringing something we’ve been waiting a while to share.

We Have Some Big News
Something new is coming from The Army Painter, and we’ve chosen SPIEL Essen as the place to announce it.
We can’t tell you what it is just yet. We know, we know. We don’t like keeping secrets either. This one’s worth it though. You’ll want to keep an eye on The Army Painter during SPIEL to find out what we’ve been working on behind the scenes. If you’re at the show, make sure Booth 1D425 is on your route so you can see what all the fuss is about.
Add a Little More Paint to Your SPIEL List
A big part of the fun at SPIEL, or any gaming event, is finding things you didn’t know about before you arrived. You can sit down to try a new game, meet the people who made it, wander into the next hall, and suddenly discover something else that needs to come home with you.
We’ll be doing our part to tempt you at Booth 1D425. The expanded Speedpaint Marker range will be among the products waiting for you, and we’ll have plenty more paints, tools, and hobby supplies available to explore and purchase throughout the show.
The booth will also be full of people who know those products inside and out. Members of our Events and Product Development teams will be painting and demonstrating products, so this is an excellent opportunity to ask the questions that can be easier to answer with a miniature and some paint sitting in front of you. And you’ve been wondering how something works, what might suit your next project, or where to start, ask away.

Take a Painting Break
With eight halls to cover, sitting down for a while might sound like the best possible thing. Luckily, we have chairs and paint in our booth and would love to have you hang out with us.
Our in-booth Paint & Take area will give you a chance to swap browsing for painting and spend some time with a miniature. You don’t need to sign up ahead of time either. Just swing by, pick up a brush, try some paint, or pick up a Speedpaint Marker and enjoy a little hobby time before heading back out into SPIEL. We’ll provide everything you need.
We’ll be running product demonstrations at the booth as well, giving you the chance to see paints and tools being used and get advice directly from the team.

Find Us in Hall 1
SPIEL Essen is expanding into all eight halls of Messe Essen for the first time in 2026, which means there will be a massive number of activities competing for your attention. We won’t tell you how to organise the rest of your route, but we can make one part easy: The Army Painter is in Hall 1 at Booth 1D425.
Stop by to paint, watch a demo, try a product you haven’t before, ask us about your latest project, or show us what you’ve been working on. And definitely come by to learn more about our announcement.
We’ll see you in Essen!
