Septembwaaagh is Here!

Septembwaaagh is Here!

The days are getting colder, the leaves are starting to turn, and the scent of pumpkin spice everything wafts through the air. It can only mean one thing, of course—Orktober is on the way! That’s right, everyone’s favourite greenskinned miscreants are getting ready to take over the month of October, as is their tradition. Misspelt words, enthusiastically painted checkerboards, and ear-shattering shouts of Waaagh abound. Christmas may have elves, but everyone knows an orc is better, or as they say, betta’.

Why wait until October, though? No one month can contain the enthusiasm of the rowdiest bunch of hooligans known to any fantasy or sci-fi setting. Whether your orc comes decked out in bolted-on scraps of metal and ramshackle guns or burdened with a tragic backstory at the behest of their monocular evil overlord, the one thing every orc can agree on is that more orc equals best orc. With that in mind, we here at The Army Painter, of our own free will and definitely not at the behest of a worked-up Dipit slathered in green paint, are proud to announce the first of its kind:

Septembwaaagh!

That’s right, the orcs have expanded and now September is theirs too! What does that mean for you? Well, to start, it means we’re looking forward to seeing all your orcish paint jobs and hobby with the #septembwaaagh hashtag as we get ready for even more festivities once Orktober proper hits. Most importantly, though, it means we’re offering up a selection of orc-themed paint bundles to help boost your greenskinned efforts. Whether you’re a fan of Warpaints Fanatic, Air, or Speedpaint, we have you covered with options to paint your rowdy warriors in either a vibrant green or a more desaturated natural hue.

Sometimes your orcs need to be all sneaky like, though. Sounds rather un-orcish to me, but to each their own, and for you, we have a selection of the sneakiest colours known to any orc—purple!
