PRODUCT INFO

Warpaint Air are high-quality acrylic paints formulated to be airbrush-ready straight from the bottle, with excellent consistency and opacity. Shake each bottle vigorously for about 30 seconds before use, then squeeze out a small amount to check the consistency before loading your airbrush. Some colours—like yellow hues—may require additional coats for full coverage due to natural pigment differences.

Each Triad is designed around the colour triad system: a shade, midtone, and highlight. Begin by spraying the darkest colour to establish shadows and depth, then layer your midtone across most surfaces while leaving recesses darker. Finally, spray the lightest tone on raised edges and prominent details to create natural highlights and definition.

For smooth transitions, apply thin layers and gently blend the tones together with your airbrush. You can increase or decrease contrast depending on how much separation you leave between each step.

Tip: Warpaints Air can also be applied with a brush if you don’t have an airbrush. Coverage will take an extra coat or two compared to Warpaints, but the triad system works just as effectively with either method.
