We’re packing the paints, loading up the hobby tools, and heading to Birmingham for our very first appearance at UK Games Expo. From May 29-May 31, you’ll find The Army Painter at Booth #3A-401 at the NEC, right in the middle of one of the UK’s biggest celebrations of tabletop gaming, miniatures, roleplaying games, board games, and hobby culture.
And yes, we’re bringing paints. Lots of paints.
Come Paint, Test Tools, and Talk Hobby

UK Games Expo is all about getting hands-on with games and hobbies, so we’re bringing the same energy to the booth.
Throughout the weekend, the events team will be running live demos of The Army Painter paints and hobby tools, answering hobby questions, sharing painting tips and techniques, and helping visitors try products for themselves. If you’ve been curious about Speedpaint, Warpaints Fanatic, brushes, Warpaints Air, or hobby tools, this is the perfect chance to see them up close and give them a try before adding more supplies to your ever-growing hobby desk.
Whether you’re painting your very first miniature or balancing three unfinished armies and a “quick side project” that somehow became another full faction, come by and say hello.
You’ll be able to:
- Try paints and hobby tools at the booth
- Get painting tips and guidance from the team
- Ask hobby questions
- Test products before you buy
- Pick up paints, tools, and hobby supplies on-site
Why We’re Excited for UKGE
One of the things we like most about UK Games Expo is how welcoming it is to every kind of tabletop hobbyist. Board gamers, RPG fans, miniature painters, wargamers, card players, first-time hobbyists, and seasoned veterans all end up under the same roof for one massive weekend of dice rolling, game discovering, and enthusiastic conversations about fictional worlds.
It’s the kind of event where you walk in intending to “just have a look around” and somehow leave with a backpack full of games, a new painting idea, and at least one miniature you absolutely did not plan to buy.
And since this is our first-ever UK Games Expo, we’re especially excited to meet hobbyists from across the UK and beyond, talk painting, answer questions, see what everyone’s been working on, and spend the weekend surrounded by the wider tabletop community.
