The San Diego Comic-Con is likely the most well-known, famous, and coveted convention in every collective nerdom's hallowed halls. It is a holy pilgrimage for many and a checkmark on many a bucket list for others, including us here at The Army Painter. Well, Dipit’s wildest dreams are finally coming true, and The Army Painter will be at the 2024 San Diego Comic-Con!
We’re beyond excited to have secured a booth at this enormous event. And we mean enormous, just look at the map of the main floor below!
Don’t worry though, we’ve highlighted just where our own booth will be amongst all the other exciting going-ons. Come chat with Kat and Caleb from our events team about the newest offerings in our Warpaints Fanatic and Gamemaster ranges, try some of the paints yourself, and even pick up some brand-new paint to take home with you. We’ll have a selection of box sets on hand for sale thanks to our retail partner for this event, Alpha Omega Hobby, so you can take a box of Warpaints Fanatic with you while you attend the seminars and Q&As of your favourite TV shows and movies.
That’s not all, we’ve also partnered with Jake "Oz" Krajeski, owner of Alpha Omega Hobby, and Dave Taylor, of the Build Paint Play podcast to sponsor the Paint and Take, Product Demos, and Painting Classes in the dedicated Hobby area on the Mezzanine. This is the perfect chance to try out a wide variety of our paints and tools on a selection of free miniatures, which you then get to keep. Where else would you get the opportunity to paint your favourite character while looking at some amazing cosplay as inspiration?
The San Diego Comic-Con is next week, July 25th through the 28th, so if you’re attending, be sure to stop by our booth and the hobby area and say hello to your favourite procurers of paint, we’re looking forward to seeing you there!
